Zingy lemon, spicy garlic, and creamy mayo all in one sauce? Yep, sign me up! This Caesar Dressing is all that and more. Perfect for salads and even marinades, this savory dressing is wayyy better than store bought.

Ingredients

  1. Garlic
  2. Anchovy paste
  3. Lemon
  4. Mustard
  5. Worcestershire sauce
  6. Mayonnaise
  7. Parmesan cheese
  8. Seasonings

. You can buy garlic paste in the produce section of your grocery store, but fresh shredded or microplaned garlic is more flavorful and cheaper.

. Anchovy paste isn’t a very common ingredient in many recipes, but it’s essential to a non-vegan caesar dressing. It comes in a small tube in the condiment aisle and it keeps for a long time in the fridge.

. You can use shredded parmesan that comes in a bag or tub, or you can use the shelf stable kind that comes grated into a powder. It will thicken the texture a bit but overall will taste the same.

How to Make this Dressing

This is a fast and easy recipe to whip up. All you have to do it measure out all the ingredients and add them all to a container, then stir them up until they’re completely mixed. For this recipe, I used an old salad dressing container that I washed and saved. If you choose to do that, you can add the ingredients to the bottle, then screw on the cap and just shake it up until it’s ready.

What to Pair this with

This dressing can be added to any salad, but the most likely pairing is with caesar salad. If you’re wondering how to make that salad, check out my recipe for Kale Caesar Salad. Other ways to use this dressing include a dip for raw veggies, potato wedges, or meat.

  1. If the zing of garlic isn't your thing, I suggest starting with 3 cloves and tasting from there.
